Excellent experience of true hospitality, welcome, team approach, local cuisine, and indoor-outdoor atmosphere. You must reserve in March or April for August meals. 100 5-course family-style-sharing lunch includes 5 alcohol pairings! They were even able to accommodate a small child very well with a modified menu for a lower price. Thank you to the whole team for your generous hospitality and true talent!

This was a novel experience for my partner and me. Every plate was made with such intention and thought. The textures of each dish were carefully considered. With every plate, the sommelier and chef would explain each ingredient, where it was sourced, and how it was prepared. All ingredients are local, and any meat products come from free-range farms. It seems like you will never have the same meal twice here, which is perfect, as we plan to return to see what a summer or fall menu would look like!

Excellent experience!! The food was absolutely amazing!! The simple way of explaining the process and the dish you will eat and the wine pairing, where the wine came from, how it was prepared. Everyone is bio and home made which makes the fishes even more special and tasty

We made reservations for lunch, thinking we would simply be ordering something off the menu. It was absolutely delightful to realize that we had signed up for a five course experience of dishes made with local foods, each paired with a beverage, and all fabulous. Adding to the experience was the explanation that the small team provided about each pairing. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the Charlevoix region.

Do yourself a favor and book a reservation to eat here! Faux Bergers is a must! I seriously came to Baie Saint Paul special to come to this restaurant and do a 7 course meal The service is Exceptional! The chefs are Masters. The main chef came and described each dish after the whole dining room was served. They will gladly tell you everything in English. I highly recommend accompanying the meal with hand selected wines from the Sommelier of the restaurant! You will not regret! They are farm to table and serious about farm to table and supporting all local producers of meat, cheese, vegetables, fruit, fish Price is ultra reasonable for the unique care and time that goes into the preparation of each dish! To go here is a honor and event that you will remember and cherish. Please come and enjoy this gem in Quebec and celebrate the beauty in this place and your life! The most memorable meal of our two week holiday. Nailed it, in every way. The attention to detail and complexity of every dish was so appreciated. As were the other diners, all of whom were there “on purpose”. Lots of applause and laughter, showing much appreciation to the kitchen. Whose effort was so obvious, including that of our server. Kitchen staff also involved in serving and explaining the dishes, individually at the table in English as needed. If you’re curious (or a fan) about farm to table and appreciate creativity and passion in the kitchen - I’d encourage you to book a table.

What an amazing experience! This place is out of this world (or, at a minimum, out of this country). I've been to many high-end restaurants in Canada, but this is the best meal and overall experience I had. Every dish was incredibly creative, crafted with a long list of locally-sourced ingredients that worked wonders put together. We came for dinner, for which the only option is a "surprise" tasting menu and we shared the wine pairing as well, and it was a delight. Everything about the experience is wonderful, from the location (in a fromagerie/farm out of the city) through the plating, the amazing staff/owners, to the amazingly delicious dishes. I really hope to have an opportunity to go back again!
